The state Senate passed the bill earlier this week. “I am adhering to what I’ve said since this bill was first introduced - an issue of this magnitude and importance, which requires a constitutional amendment, should be left to the people of New Jersey to decide,” said Christie, who reiterated his call for a referendum on the issue of same-sex marriage. it makes me so angry to believe there are people who exist who think that human rights should be subject to the discretion and ideologies of the public.
